Online Tajweed Course for Kids and Adults
Learn Tajweed online, one to one: Makharij, Sifaat, Noon and Meem Sakinah, Madd, Qalqalah and Waqf, practised on real verses with live correction. Free trial.
Move from the Qaida to reading the full Quran confidently, page by page, with a teacher correcting your recitation in every class.
Nazra means reading the Quran by looking at the text. In our Nazra classes the student reads from the Mushaf every lesson while the teacher corrects pronunciation, pauses and flow, until they can read the complete Quran fluently. Basic Tajweed rules are introduced along the way.
Nazra suits students who know the Arabic letters and vowel signs but read slowly, hesitate, or make mistakes. It is also ideal for adults who learned as children and want to read again with confidence.
It depends on how many days a week the student reads and how much they practise. Our teacher sets a realistic target in the trial class and tracks it in progress updates.
Nazra focuses on fluent, accurate reading of the whole Quran. Tajweed studies the rules of recitation in depth, such as Noon Sakinah, Madd and Qalqalah, so the Quran is recited exactly as it should be. Many students do both together.
Nazra means reading the Quran by looking at the text, as opposed to Hifz, which is reciting from memory.
Yes. Many adults join to read fluently again or to correct mistakes they have carried since childhood.
Basic Tajweed is introduced during Nazra. For full study of the rules, students can join our Tajweed course.
