Nazra Quran Classes: Read the Quran Fluently
Online Nazra Quran classes: read the complete Quran fluently from the Mushaf with daily correction of pronunciation and basic Tajweed. One to one, kids and adults.
The first step to reading the Quran: learn the Arabic letters and how to join them, with a patient teacher correcting every sound.
Noorani Qaida is the beginner's book that teaches the Arabic alphabet, correct letter sounds, joining letters and vowel signs, so a student can read the Quran on their own. At Hidaya Scholars Academy it is taught live and one to one. Children usually start from age 4 or 5, and adults of any age are welcome.
It depends on age and practice. With regular lessons, many children complete the Qaida in a few months, and adults often go faster. We never rush: a student moves on only when each lesson is read correctly, because a strong Qaida makes every later stage easier.
The teacher shares the Qaida page on screen, reads each sound, and listens as the student repeats. Mistakes are corrected on the spot. Parents are told which lesson to practise between classes. You can read more in our article Noorani Qaida: the best first step to reading the Quran.
After the Qaida, students move to Nazra, reading the Quran itself from the Mushaf, with Tajweed rules added step by step.
Most children are ready from around 4 or 5 years old. Adults can start at any age.
With regular classes many children finish in a few months; adults are often quicker. The pace depends on practice at home.
A printed Qaida helps for practice at home, but the teacher also shows each page on screen during class.
